... is a non for profit home owners association incorporating 57 individual
privately owned tracts adjoined by association open common ground for some 50 home owners registered as our members enjoying Boating, Waterskiing, Fishing or just plain relaxing on beautiful Lake Shafer.
The association members share a boat ramp, a playground for children, a Pickleball Court, a Basketball Court, Volleyball yard, a Picnic Shelter, a Camp Fire Pit for "Weinie Roasts" and sewer system. (no septics).
Golden Beach Club was founded in 1961. The Association of Home Owners was officially adopted by it's original property owner John Albertson on August 25, 1981.
We're located on the East side of Lake Shafer,
about 5 miles North of Indiana Beach Amusement Park.
We're just North of Lowe's Bridge, off East Shafer Drive, 6.4 miles from Noraway Dam.
Between Monticello & Buffalo, Indiana on US-39;
We're 1 mile West of US-39 on 600 North, (600 North turns into East Shafer Drive)
600 North is exactly 6 miles North of US-24 -or- 3 miles South of Buffalo.
